About the recruitment of students for MIP
Here we announce the recruitment of students for the Kyoto University Graduate Program for Medical Innovation (MIP) for the 2025 academic year.
Students who have passed the selection process will start to enroll in the MIP beginning July 1st, 2025.
An explanation of the program will be given at the guidance of your department in early April.
| Eligibility Requirement for applicants | First year students Students who meet both of the following criteria: (1) Students who enrolled in the Master’s course, the 4-year Doctoral course, or the 5-year Doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2025; Graduate School of Medicine: Medicine, Medical Science, Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medicinal Frontier Sciences (2) Students who intend to proceed to the doctoral degree (PhD) course in any of the above departments Special selection for the second year Students who meet both of the following criteria: (1) Students who advanced to the second year of the Master’s course or the 4-year Doctoral course or the 5-year Doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2025: Graduate School of Medicine: Medicine, Medical Science, Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medicinal Frontier Sciences, Bioinformatics and Chemical Genomics (2) Students who intend to proceed to the doctoral degree (PhD) course in any of the above departments Transfer to the third year Students who enrolled the doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2025: Graduate School of Medicine: Medical Science, Public Health, or Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences |

| Selection schedule | Application period: From Monday, April 7 until 3:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2025 Oral examination: Examinees who need oral examination are individually contacted. Selection results will be notified by email by the end of June. |
