Additional Recruitment for Academic Year 2022
Here we announce the additional recruitment of students for the Kyoto University Graduate Program for Medical Innovation (MIP) for the 2022 academic year.
Students who have passed the selection process will start to enroll in the MIP beginning October 1st, 2022.
| Eligibility Requirement for applicants | First year students Students who meet both of the following criteria: (1) Students who enrolled in the Master’s course, the 4-year Doctoral course, or the 5-year Doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2022; Graduate School of Medicine: Medicine, Medical Science, Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medicinal Frontier Sciences (2) Students who intend to proceed to the doctoral degree (PhD) course in any of the above departments Special selection for the second year Students who meet both of the following criteria: (1)Students who advanced to the second year of the Master’s course or the 4-year Doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2022: Graduate School of Medicine: Medicine, Medical Science, Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics and Chemical Genomics (2) Students who intend to proceed to the doctoral degree (PhD) course in any of the above departments Transfer to the third year Students who enrolled the doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2022: Graduate School of Medicine: Medical Science, Public Health, or Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences |
| Enrollment Capacity | A few students each for the first, second, and third years. |
| Selection schedule | Application period: From Friday, July 1 until 3:00 pm on Friday, July 29, 2022 Oral examination: Examinees who need oral examination are individually contacted. Selection results will be notified by email be the middle of September 2022. |

Applications must be delivered in person or sent by registered mail to the Office of Student Affairs Graduate School of Medicine.
