Recruitment for Academic Year 2021
Here we announce the recruitment of students for the Kyoto University Graduate Program for Medical Innovation (MIP) for the 2021 academic year.
Students who have passed the selection process will start to enroll in the MIP beginning July 1st, 2021.
An explanation of the program will be given at the guidance of your department in early April.

| Eligibility Requirement for applicants | First year students Students who meet both of the following criteria: (1) Students who enrolled in the Master’s course or the 4-year Doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2021; Graduate School of Medicine: Medicine, Medical Science, Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics and Chemical Genomics (2) Students who intend to proceed to the doctoral degree (PhD) course in any of the above departments Special selection for the second year Students who meet both of the following criteria: (1)Students who advanced to the second year of the Master’s course or the 4-year Doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2021: Graduate School of Medicine: Medicine, Medical Science, Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics and Chemical Genomics (2) Students who intend to proceed to the doctoral degree (PhD) course in any of the above departments Transfer to the third year Students who enrolled the doctoral course in any of the following departments in April 2021: Graduate School of Medicine: Medical Science, Public Health, or Human Health Sciences Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioinformatics and Chemical Genomics |

| Selection schedule | Application period: From Monday, April 5 until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 20,2021 Oral examination: Examinees who need oral examination are individually contacted. Selection results will be posted on the MIP website by the end of June. |

| Other information | ・The requirements for completion of the MIP and the curriculum of the MIP are available at https://www.mip.med.kyoto-u.ac.jp/en/curriculum/ ・Students who have passed the selection process will start to enroll in the MIP beginning July 1st, 2021. But applicants are required course registration for the full-year and first semester course. ・Please read carefully “the Graduate Program for Medical Innovation Guideline” and “Course Registration for the Graduate Program in Medical Innovation” on the following URL before registering for the course .
